Stripe is an online payment platform that processes payments such as donations, membership renewals, ticket sales, and e-commerce purchases. fusionCore connects your Stripe account to Salesforce so payments flow back into your records automatically, with real-time processing, automated receipts, and transaction reporting. This page walks you through onboarding your Stripe account and turning on the payment methods fusionCore uses. The fusionCore implementation team normally completes the Salesforce-side connection for you.
If you are setting up a test account, you can use Stripe’s testing data instead of live data.

Choose a new or existing account
On the fusionCore Connect page, choose one of the following:
Create a new account on Stripe.
Connect a pre-existing Stripe account to fusionCore.
If you connect a pre-existing Stripe account, log in to that account in your browser before you click the link, so that you are signed in automatically.
3
Complete the Stripe information
Complete the Stripe information section, which covers personal, professional, public, and financial institution details. See Data points for Stripe account set up for the full checklist of what to gather.
If you are creating a new account, you are asked to complete an additional step about your business type and location.
4
Submit the onboarding form
When every section is complete, click Submit to finish onboarding.

5
Notify the fusionCore team
Once your payment methods are set, notify the fusionCore team. They complete the connection so your account is linked to Salesforce.
On a standard (connected-account) setup, fusionCore supports Card and ACH only. Configuring other payment methods here is not recommended. Alipay and WeChat Pay are available only on a Stripe Direct account — see Stripe Direct Accounts.
Card and ACH only on connected accounts. On a standard connected-account setup, only Card and ACH are supported. Saving a payment method for Alipay or WeChat Pay is blocked unless your org is on a Stripe Direct account. If you need those methods, ask the fusionCore team about Stripe Direct Accounts.
Pre-existing accounts must be logged in first. If you connect an existing Stripe account but are not signed in to it when you click the onboarding link, the connection can attach to the wrong account.
Setup is not finished until the webhook and validation are complete. Onboarding your Stripe account and enabling payment methods is only the first part. The fusionCore team must finish the Salesforce-side connection — including the webhook (the URL Stripe calls to push payment events back into Salesforce) and account validation — before payments work end to end. See Connected account webhook set up.
Country eligibility is set by Stripe, not fusionCore. Some countries cannot use Stripe at all. Check the current list before onboarding — see Stripe unsupported countries and reasons.
