Overview
Stripe is the payment processor that fusionCore uses to charge cards and bank accounts. Before you set up a Stripe account, gather the information below. Having it ready up front lets you complete the onboarding form in one sitting and avoids back-and-forth with the fusionCore implementation team.
Stripe asks for this data to verify your organization and to comply with financial regulations. You enter it on the Stripe onboarding form you reach from the link the fusionCore implementation team sends you. For the full walkthrough, see Setting up a Stripe account.
If you are setting up a test account, you can use sample (testing) data instead of your real business and bank details.

Limitations and Common Pitfalls
- Have everything ready before you start. Stripe’s onboarding form expects business, representative, public, and bank details in one flow. Missing details can stall verification and delay when you can accept payments.
- Country availability. Stripe does not operate in every country, and some countries are restricted for regulatory reasons. Confirm your country is supported before you begin. Stripe’s supported-country list changes over time, so always check the current list at stripe.com/global.
- Card and ACH are the supported payment types. In a standard fusionCore Stripe setup, only Card and ACH bank transfer are supported. Configuring other payment types is not recommended. Alipay and WeChat Pay are available only on a Stripe Direct account setup.
