Turn on Salesforce multi-currency so fusionCore can take payments, issue orders, and report in more than one currency.
Multi-currency is a Salesforce org-level setting. When you turn it on, Salesforce adds a standard CurrencyIsoCode field to currency-bearing records (Accounts, Contacts, Orders, and more) and maintains conversion rates between your org’s corporate currency and every other currency you activate. The corporate currency is the single base currency Salesforce converts everything back to for consolidated reporting. fusionCore reads CurrencyIsoCode when it creates orders, processes payments, and sends amounts to payment gateways, so this setting is the foundation for everything else in this section.
Activating multiple currencies cannot be undone. Salesforce does not let you turn it off once it is enabled. Confirm you have agreement from all stakeholders before you proceed.
At the top right of Salesforce, click the gear icon and select Setup.

Activate and rate each currency
In the Active Currencies section, use the buttons and links to:
New — activate a currency you sell in (for example, USD, EUR, or GBP).
Edit Rates — set each currency’s conversion rate against the corporate currency.
Change Corporate — choose which active currency is the corporate currency.
Deactivate — retire a currency you no longer offer.
Activate every currency you intend to transact in, and set a conversion rate for each one.
A corporate currency must always be selected. It does not have to be USD, but only one corporate currency can be set at a time. Your choice affects how every exchange rate is expressed, because all rates are relative to the corporate currency.
Activation is irreversible. Once multiple currencies are active, Salesforce provides no way to turn the setting off.
Activate and rate currencies before you transact. fusionCore raises a “currency not supported” error when it tries to convert to or from a currency that has no active, rated currency in Setup. A currency that exists only as a label, with no conversion rate, will fail.
Conversions use Salesforce’s stored rates. fusionCore reads the current conversion rate you set in Currency Setup and rounds converted amounts to two decimal places. If you use Salesforce Advanced Currency Management (dated exchange rates), verify the converted figures, because the current rate is used rather than a date-specific rate.
