Replace the saved Wallet Item on an Installment Plan and reassign it to the installments that are still chargeable, so future Auto-Charge runs use the new card or bank account.
Auto-Charge charges each installment against the Wallet Item (the saved card or ACH bank account, FCORE_PAY__Wallet_Item__c) stored on that installment. When a card expires or a member wants to pay with a different method, you replace the Wallet Item on the Installment Plan. When you replace the Wallet Item, fusionCore reassigns the new payment method to the installments that are still chargeable — the pending installments that have not yet been paid. Installments that are already paid or cancelled are left as they are.
On the Order, open the Manage Installments component and click Update Wallet Item for All Installments.

Select the Wallet Item you want to use for Auto-Charge. To pay with a different card or bank account, enter the new payment details and save them as a Wallet Item, then select it.
Selecting the Wallet Item to use for Auto-Charge
The new Wallet Item is now assigned to every still-chargeable installment on the plan, and future Auto-Charge runs use it.
Only still-chargeable installments are reassigned. When you replace the Wallet Item, the new payment method is applied only to pending installments that are still chargeable. Installments that are already paid or cancelled keep their original record and are not affected.
Auto-Charge still needs a Wallet Item per installment. If an installment ends up with no Wallet Item, Auto-Charge silently skips it — it never charges and never raises an error. After replacing a payment method, confirm the installments you expect to be charged have the new Wallet Item set.
Wallet Items depend on a payment provider. Wallet Items are created by the Stripe addon. You can only assign payment methods that exist as Wallet Items in your org.
